The Umberslade Garden Party will see the farm park transformed into a quintessentially English setting complete with bunting, croquet, and Pimms! Visitors will be treated to a host of special activities from authentic Native American head-dress making in the 21ft traditional tipis, the annual Umberslade ‘Welly Wanging’ contest, and the Teddy Bear’s Picnic.
Oliver Muntz, director at Umberslade Farm Park said: “We wanted to kick start the summer holidays with something special, and what better way than with an English Garden Party in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. I’m really excited about all the special activities but I have to say the Welly Wanging contest is one of my favourites.”
As well as all the special Garden Party activities the farm park will be open as normal for farmyard fun in the sun. The family-run farm park boasts a wide selection of farm animals from baby piglets and lambs to adorable calves and ponies. Children can enjoy a hands-on experience in a safe and hygienic environment including holding baby chicks, feeding lambs and baby goats, as well as pony and tractor rides. Families can also enjoy the rustic farmhouse cafe with home-made treats and a tasty countryside menu.
Umberslade Farm Park can be found in Tanworth-in-Arden, just 10 minutes from junction 3 of the M42 and 5 miles from Henley-in-Arden. For more information check out www.umberslade.com
